Sharon's Tulips
Uncropped
Sharon's Tulips
Cropped
The tulips are painted from a reference photographed by Sharon. She is allergic to flowers so wanted to paint these so she could enjoy them any time.
Painted on a quarter sheet of Fabriano Aristico watercolor paper. The cropped version will fit in an 8" x 10" mat.
Note: Just realized I called these flowers poppies when they are tulips.

Cynthia's Flower II
Cynthia's Flower II
8"x10"
Watercolor
This second version of Cynthia's Flower was painted for a friend of mine as a "thank you. She had called about the original version but it was too large for the area where she wanted to hang it.
During my sister's cancer treatment, she would drive her to appointments and often fixed a meal for all of us. So I wanted to surprise her with this small token of our heartfelt appreciation for her kindness and friendship.
