I painted this piece of the puzzle in April and today the images were posted. There were two teams painting the same photo and the completed paintings can be seen below. My painting was used in both team paintings as was Bonnie's. It was a fun and challenging painting, especially when I had one table leg angled totally wrong.

this looks interesting!
Celeste, it was interesting to paint. We had to paint to a specific size and do our best to make sure what we painted would line up in the puzzle. This painting is 8 1/2" x 5". Every artist's palette was different and I am sure that was partially due to the way the colors looked on our monitors.
Very cool, Ann, that your painting was used in both teams :) I like what you did and find it interesting to see the variety in colors used, etc.
Thanks Rhonda! :) What I find intriguing is the way Desiree divides the photo. She has such a great eye for composition and she paints the most beautiful quilts.
What an interesting challenge! Even just your section alone is a great composition. Desiree does have a good eye.
Liz, Desiree certainly does know how to challenge those that participated in the puzzle piece painting. She does some exquisite quilts as well as paintings which can be found on her blog, "The Clothes Line and other laundry lists", link in my sidebar.
