NE Explorer
This is my watercolor version of the photo for the August Paint Along project at Painting Friends online art group. I had to use a bit of white gouache in the painting. It felt good to just have a brush in my hand.
Welcome back Ann! you haven't loose your touch with that brush :) I like the loose landscape, most of all the river bank, and how you put that orange in the figure to get the eye.
Hi Teresa, it felt wonderful to have a brush in my hand. Didn't do well on the figure at all but the main thing was to just paint. Love your lantern painting!
