The paintings of Oklahoma artist, Ann Buckner Krug
You're are going pretty fast with this one Ann and it's looking really good! Those 3 underpainted colors does add a continuity to the colors in the upper area, it's really an interesting look in my opinion
Those underlying colors were based on the photo taken by Lil. I thought they looked pretty interesting and a bit unusual too. Not sure how much further this painting will go. Need a "scratch head" icon ha ha, as I review and decide the next steps, if any.
Looks done to me, Ann. Beautiful work :) I think you could have carried that arching undercolor up - it looks like you did because of the reddish color at the upper left. I don't think you have to do a backwards S but any of the shapes to lead your eye in. Good stuff. I still haven't gotten involved in Painting Friends - doesn't seem to be enough time right now. But soon!
Wow, Ann, this is gorgeous. I love it. Well done.
Looks good, great depth with the indication of more lily pads in the background. It might be good to break the horizontal line created by the 3 lilies and pads going almost straight across about 1/3 down, perhaps add just a suggestion of something to kind of break that line? Will look forward to seeing the area you are unsure of and how you correct it!
OMG Ann this is fantastic!
Christiane, Rhonda, Dawn, you all are too kind. Thanks for stopping by and taking time to comment.
Deb, thanks for the feedback on this one and your comments. I appreciate the tip. :)
