Morning After the Storm, Chatter

These photos were taken just as the sun was beginning to rise above the East mountain this morning, showing the new buds next to the rain battered flowers.  I caught Mr. Squirrel skampering across the yard.  He paused by the rose bushes then shimmied up the light pole.  A beautiful celebration of life after last night's storm tossed battering.  We had no damage but other Oklahomans didn't fare as well.  A tragic loss of lives and devastating damage to our west. We are keeping them and others in the path of this storm in our thoughts and prayers.

Love Mr Squirrel, beautiful flower photos and with the weather getting more unpredictable we need to remember all those affected by it lately.

Hi Ann, I'm glad you're safe after the storms. That squirrel looks so cute and cheeky! And your roses are beautiful. Are you going to paint any of them?

Carol, glad you enjoyed the photos. Oh yes, I always feel for those going through bad weather conditions. Hope things improve for everyone.

Hi Deb, so tickled to know you are home after your trip to Europe. Can't wait to read more about it and hopefully, see some photos.
