The paintings of Oklahoma artist, Ann Buckner Krug
Dear Ann, Thank you for sharing a beautiful work and the precious process in demo. Me,too, love the quoted Japanese proverb that means "never give up or lose hope."Cheers, Sadami
Hi Ann, what a beautiful finish! It looks great - especially those awesome trees and foliage. I also just love your new banner. What will you be on to next?
beautiful painting, I love it
I really love the effect of the reflections on the water. Excellent work!
Sadami, thank you. I enjoyed your blog too. Nice to know someone appreciates that proverb too. Glad you like the finished painting as well as the banner, Deb. I cropped the photo of the painting in Photoshop and stretched it. For my next painting, I'm considering a very close crop of a photo provided by Jaytee & Ruth for the Mindbenders project. The area I zeroed in on is about a 1" to 1 1/2" square. Should be fun ha ha.Carole, I so appreciate your comments. Sara, Thanks for your kinds comments.
This is lovely artwork! The blending is flawless! I don't paint but my the rest of my family members do. This really is lovely.
Toni and Marian, thank you both.
Fantastic finish - love the water, the deep, dark colors and values and the reflections and...well...this is just an overall winner!
the water is executed so well. I love this piece
