River Landscape
River Landscaoe
9" x 13"
Watercolor
Finished the landscape painting this morning. Thanks to Ron at paintingfriends.com for the use of his beautiful photo in the values thread and this painting.
Dear Ann, Thank you for sharing a beautiful work and the precious process in demo. Me,too, love the quoted Japanese proverb that means "never give up or lose hope." Cheers, Sadami
Hi Ann, what a beautiful finish! It looks great - especially those awesome trees and foliage. I also just love your new banner. What will you be on to next?
Sadami, thank you. I enjoyed your blog too. Nice to know someone appreciates that proverb too.
Glad you like the finished painting as well as the banner, Deb. I cropped the photo of the painting in Photoshop and stretched it. For my next painting, I'm considering a very close crop of a photo provided by Jaytee & Ruth for the Mindbenders project. The area I zeroed in on is about a 1" to 1 1/2" square. Should be fun ha ha.
Rhonda, thank you. That means a lot coming from you. :)
PaperPencilArt, thank you for your visit and your comments. I love being in at the beginning of a fellow artist's blog and I enjoyed reading yours. Will you be posting your artwork as well? I would love to see it. Wishing you much success in getting your BFA and following your dreams.
