I wasn't totally happy with the shadow area on the viewer's left and a few other areas. This morning, the shadow area was reworked and doesn't look quite as green. Also, added more color inside the white bowl as well as color in some other areas. I like the way the painting now looks in real life.

Bravo Ann I love this. What great colors you have in here. Oh and when I lived up North I was very close to the Fiesta Glassware Company.
Beautiful! I keep wanting to paint my fiesta ware, too- so pretty and bright. I love your background, also!
Lovely watercolor Ann. The color is wonderful--solid--as are your highlights.
Love the reflection of the fabric on the bottom of the bowl.
Thanks all of you. I'm going to rework the shadows on the cloth if I can to get rid of the green. :D
Ann, this is beautiful. Your apples are so beautifully painted and I really like all of your colors. Like Deb, I especially love the reflections of the cloth on the bowl. You are sooooo good!
Is a stunning painting! xx
This is wonderful! The colors are so rich and full of life. The composition is so entrancing! Well done!
Gorgeous colors and reflections. The composition throws me a bit - there is a tension in the 2 apples stacked and the one that seems to be balanced on the edge of the bowl and ready to fall :)
This is such a colorful painting. I love it! Your plaid cloth is beautifully painted and I love your highlights and shadows used to model the apples. They are really well painted. Also that yellow bowl or saucer (not sure which) is wonderful at connecting all the parts of this composition together. The yellow dish may be my favorite part of the painting because it's the connecting piece that keeps the apples from falling. :)
